Get Closer by Corneliani

In a visual metaphor for shared moments and interactions, the 16th-century cloister of Palazzo Durini, the historic home of Corneliani in Milan, transforms into a celebration of life and camaraderie among men – a dance of symbolic gestures representing the various ways they connect and greet one another. The collection, inspired by this interplay of human connection, pays homage to the timeless values of elegance, authenticity, and craftsmanship.

The circle emerges as the quintessential shape to encompass these experiences, evoking the immersive art of Marina Apollonio via an elevated platform: a round, rotating stage, surrounded by an equally circular runway. This thoughtful design captures the essence and desire for connection that inspires the new Corneliani collection, emphasizing how contemporary living and dressing serve as tools for communication and unity among people. The circular form becomes not just a visual centerpiece but a symbolic reminder of continuity, balance, and inclusion—concepts deeply embedded in the brand's philosophy.

The special performance, curated by choreographer Kate Coyne, Artistic Director of the Central School of Ballet in London, stars three professional dancers embodying the rhythm of life as envisioned by Corneliani. The choreography mirrors the fluidity and grace inherent in the collection, seamlessly integrating art and fashion. Meanwhile, models walk the outer platform, presenting a complete vision of the new season's looks, where tradition meets innovation.

Just as a garment transcends mere fabric to become an extension of our identity and emotions, the Corneliani collection unfolds as a visual language filled with stories of connection and beauty. Each element is an invitation to step into a circle of timeless elegance and style, bridging the brand's rich heritage with its modern flair. The designs resonate with a sophisticated audience, offering a wardrobe that is both contemporary and deeply rooted in Italian craftsmanship.

New proportions reinterpret the Corneliani aesthetic with a sharper, more defined look. This is evident in the slim, tailored cuts of trousers worn beneath the relaxed, generous lines of outerwear and knitwear. The juxtaposition of structure and fluidity reflects a dynamic approach to modern menswear, ensuring versatility and comfort while maintaining an impeccable sense of style.

Variations of volume play a central role, creating a sartorial symphony that highlights traditional Italian wools such as gabardine, tricotine, and cover armatures. These carefully selected fabrics enhance the identity and impact of silhouettes through their rich, three-dimensional textures, demonstrating the brand's dedication to material excellence.

Likewise rooted in classic influences, the color palette features essential shades of gray, black, and brown, accented by natural hues and vibrant pops of lime green, moss green, and antique pink. These colors not only evoke the serenity of nature but also add a contemporary edge to the collection, appealing to a modern audience seeking subtle yet striking elegance.

Iconic menswear pieces, elevated with subtle, sophisticated details, include single-breasted and double-breasted coats crafted from pure cashmere, luxuriously soft nappa leather jackets, and cozy, enveloping knitwear made from premium yarns with mélange effects and gradient needlework. Each piece embodies the brand's commitment to timeless design and unparalleled quality.

Beyond exquisite tailoring, the house’s artisanal excellence is also manifested in the meticulous crafting of leather footwear. Robust shapes and lug soles define both ankle boots and lace-up styles, finished with raised stitching for added character. These elements complete the looks, showcasing Corneliani’s ability to harmonize tradition and modernity.

With this collection, Corneliani extends an invitation to embrace connection, authenticity, and style. The Autumn/Winter 25-26 offering is not just a fashion statement but a celebration of the bonds that unite us, rendered in luxurious fabrics, innovative designs, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
