Casa Preti FW 25/26

Casa Preti's Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collection embodies a profound anti-war manifesto, blending fashion with activism in a reflective Milan presentation that advocates peace through sartorial expression.

Inspired by the personal reflections of creative director Mattia Piazza, the collection transforms its presentation into a profound meditation on the urgency of peace. Hosted in the evocative halls of Corso Venezia 6, Milan, the event guides guests through a multi-sensory journey, where fashion becomes a medium for storytelling and raising awareness.

From the moment guests step into the exhibition space, mannequins, clothing racks, and carefully arranged installations create an intimate dialogue between garments and visitors. The tactile experience is emphasized, echoing Bruno Munari’s philosophy: "Touch is essential in fashion." Each fabric, each detail, tells a story of transformation—of the fragility and strength embedded in human existence.

In an adjoining room, a striking performance unfolds: two individuals play a game of battleship, a poignant commentary on how, from childhood, we are subconsciously exposed to the mechanisms of war. The clothing itself reinforces this message—bomber jackets with sculptural, broad shoulders in blue-gray wool contrast with the penitential purple velvet of tailored suits. In the background, a coat crafted from wool and embroidered silk is draped on a mannequin, slowly rotating—a silent metaphor for humanity’s helplessness in the face of conflict.

At the heart of the presentation lies the most powerful image: a performer stands elevated on a pedestal, adorned in a white cotton overcoat lined with cartridge belts. With deliberate, ritualistic gestures, two vestals insert sprigs of gypsophila—the signature flower of Casa Preti—into the belts, transforming symbols of destruction into expressions of beauty. This act becomes a poetic declaration, a universal plea for peace and the rejection of violence.

To conclude this immersive experience, guests receive a small yet meaningful gift—a seed encased in delicate origami. It serves as a symbol of hope, a reminder that even the smallest gesture has the potential to sow the seeds of change.

Casa Preti's Ora Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collection reaffirms the brand’s dedication to its founding principles. Previous collections have explored themes of love, light, and innocence. Now, inspired by the creative director’s personal reflections, the brand translates these ideals into immediate action: "Now."

A powerful artistic reference underlines this commitment—Giovanni Bellini’s masterpiece, The Preaching of St. Mark in Alexandria of Egypt, which speaks to a cosmopolitan Italy, capable of embracing and celebrating cultural diversity. It serves as a reminder that peace is not an abstract concept but a force capable of shaping societies and evolving thought.

This vision materializes in the collection’s designs, where cartridge belts become shoulder pieces that cradle delicate white flowers instead of bullets. These flowers—torn from the earth like lives lost too soon—embody both grief and resilience, carrying the hope that one day, every pocket will be filled not with ammunition, but with seeds of rebirth.

In a world governed by fleeting trends, Casa Preti redefines luxury as the right to pause, reflect, and embrace balance. This duality—between the whispered and the ostentatious, the essential and the decorative—emerges in the collection’s structured silhouettes. The interplay of wools and silks fosters a dialogue between sculpture and garment, resilience and vulnerability. The gypsophila, a recurring symbol of Casa Preti, appears once more, whispering messages of peace in a world where love must be the only weapon.

This evocative journey culminates in a performance where static and moving bodies express Casa Preti’s resolute no to war—an artistic, ethical, and human stance that echoes beyond the confines of fashion.
