SACRO Party

Mestiza is one of the most important references of electronic music in Spain. The union of the DJs Pitty and Belah creates a unique set that emerges from our folklore. The combination of electronic music and flamenco immerses us in an experience that reaches all five senses and is enhanced at their SACRO party. Here, in addition to DJing, they recreate scenarios full of virgins, bullfighters, and, of course, bailaores.

After years of admiring each other from distant DJ sets, the Albacetense and the Malagueña (who could almost be considered Madrileñas, as they have been living and playing in the streets of Madrid for more than 10 years) have joined forces to create a very local, very traditional duo with a lot of zest. In this project, strength and women are at the center, serving as the driving force that allows us to enjoy La Flores and even Chambao. The latter, one of the first to fuse electronic music with flamenco, and a proponent of a message where the strong woman is central, decided to join Mestiza on one of their latest singles, "Mis ojos." But the artists' latest work is the album "Quereles," in which they collaborate with flamenco greats like Ismael de la Rosa and Reyes Carrasco, creating an album aimed at putting the most contemporary folklore in the world's spotlight.

Although they incorporate flamenco in their music, they also draw from the entire Spanish imaginary and fashion. This is showcased at their SACRO party, where one can immerse oneself in an almost fantastic world of mantillas, frilly dresses, and crowns, illuminated by large golden candelabras. This union and project, which we hope will be with us for a long time, has propelled them like a hurricane onto the world electronic music scene. It has taken them and their music to parties in the best clubs in Mexico, the UK, and Germany.
