Plot
Joy, portrayed by Max Eigenmann, navigates the challenges of being an undocumented Filipina cleaner in London while balancing her responsibilities of raising her daughter, Grace (Jaeden Paige Boadilla), and striving to secure a stable life. Faced with the constant fear of job insecurity and deportation, Joy actively seeks new employment, leading her to a position caring for a mansion and its owner, Mr. Garrett (David Hayman). However, the seemingly idyllic setting of the lavish mansion and Mr. Garrett, a wealthy yet bed-bound comatose cancer patient, conceals unsettling truths. Drawing upon her medical knowledge, Joy discovers that Mr. Garrett is intentionally kept in a chemically-induced coma by his niece, Katherine (Leanne Best). Taking matters into her own hands, Joy decides to withhold his medications, intending to awaken him. This decision sets off a chain of horrifying events in the storyline. What initially appeared as a promising opportunity for a stable life transforms into a nightmarish reality as Joy and Grace become increasingly aware of the dangers and horrors lurking in the shadowy corners of the dying man’s house, unveiling dark secrets that cast a sinister pall over their lives.
