Ode to Odylyne
New York Fashion Week is one of the most highly anticipated events on the global fashion calendar. The most stylish spring brides, however, focus less on the February runways and instead set reminders to tune into April’s bridal shows. With origins in the late 1970s, New York’s bridal fashion week—NYBFW–allows designers to show off their latest wedding collections and sets the tone for the year’s trending looks. April 8th-10th of 2025 saw brides and designers alike flock to the shows to see the grand demonstration of gowns.

Among the dozens of brands represented, Stephanie White’s label Odylyne The Ceremony continued their tradition of dazzling viewers with their whimsical avant-garde pieces. The brand's mission is “to create a dreamlike state in reality,” which, in their words, is a simple task. Leaning into romantic and fantastical universes to create a unique range of designs definitely fulfills this mission. Their 2025 collections–Winged Messenger and White Rabbit–were an ode to Romeo & Juliet and Alice in Wonderland, respectively. The resulting gowns were nothing short of divine, creating the perfect wedding looks for elegant and unconventional brides.

The brand is going full dreamland with this season’s collection, Her Majesty The Moon. White described the collection to the Council of Fashion Designers of America as “an ode to the quiet strength, mystique, and ever-changing beauty of the moon [...] her phases, her pull, her soft yet commanding glow.” While only a few photos from the collection have been publicly released, the pieces that have been shown definitely command attention. Some of the gowns lean into round, romantic silhouettes as a mirror image of a full moon. Others take a more metaphorical approach, with mesmerizing lace patterns pulling viewers in. The resulting collection is powerful, varied, and undeniably feminine.

Odylyne The Ceremony has always stood out for its unique range of bridal accessories, as White creates signature additions to each new collection. For instance, the Romeo & Juliet collection–Winged Messenger—featured a floor-length silk cape, which, when paired with any gown adds a dramatic flare. The White Rabbit collection focused on whimsical jackets, shawls, and statement sleeves. Her Majesty The Moon is all about headpieces, from more traditional tiaras and veils to lace hoods, headbands and pleated bonnets that encircle the models' heads. These pieces, as well as some of the jewelry styled in the show, were designed by artist Erica Elizabeth in collaboration with the brand.
While Odylyne may not be for the trendy or minimalist brides, their fantastical take on bridal wear is a true love letter to any who are lucky enough to wear their pieces. Her Majesty the Moon is chalk full of celestial creations that will leave your special day written in the stars.
