Who’s your favorite designer/brand?
At the moment, my favorite brand is Loewe, especially their July campaign with Daniel Craig. In general, I really like Loewe’s pants and sunglasses.

What are your current favorite trends in fashion?
My favorite trends are the Puma Speedcats, Adidas Special, any baggy jeans that give off Y2K vibes, jorts, and black sunglasses with orange lenses.

What defines your style? Any style icons/inspirations?
Music culture has a lot of impact on my style. I listen to a lot of Reggaeton and Hip-Hop, so I would say that my style is bold, vibrant, and a blend of urban streetwear with luxury elements (especially sunglasses) - overall, I’d say I have an eclectic style.

Whose closet would you want to take over?
Definitely Bad Bunny’s, he’s one of my style icons.

Favorite statement piece in your wardrobe you can't live without?
My shades. I always wear shades, no matter the occasion.

I take most of my influence from the Y2K era and the 90s Hip-Hop era.

Who is your most listened to artist on Spotify?
Brent Faiyaz.

What is your guilty pleasure artist/s you listen to?
Kali Uchis, Dua Lipa, Karol G, and Shakira.

Dream music collaboration
Bad Bunny for sure.

Songs you wish you had written
The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
Brent Faiyaz - Fuck the World
The Cure - Just Like Heaven

Most meaningful lyrics you’ve written
“Во свет полн галама, биди ми тишина,
пркоси на реалноста, само фантазирај,
На чиста околина нагази дигни прашина,
далеку од добар живот а сме во близина”
Direct translation:
“In a world full of noise, be my silence,
defy reality, just fantasize,
tread on clean surroundings, raise dust,
far from a good life, but we are nearby.”

These lyrics are from the song called Mesto (translation: Place), a general commentary about the state of our society, about inequality, about inversion. It’s meant to empower young people to stand up and show their qualities, show what they are good at and show their artistic side, and fight the system using creativity.

Most meaningful lyrics you’ve come across
The Weeknd - Die for You

To-go work out playlist
Reggaeton Hits!

First concert
I don’t remember, but the best concert I've been to was The Weeknd’s.

First album you bought and its influence on your work
I am not sure if it was Bob Marley - Kaya or the Bee Gees - Saturday Night Fever. I remember discovering both albums as a really young kid and Kaya introduced me to reggae which is a huge part of me, and the Bee Gees made me love disco, which I implement in my music, and I have a few unreleased songs with the typical “falseto” used in their songs.

The album that influenced me a lot as a young teenager was 17 by XXXTentacion. It raised my personal awareness about mental health after a few listens, and the whole album is just magical, it made me more sensitive and empathetic.

Favorite country you visited & why
I am amazed by both Spain and France. I love France, especially Paris, because it’s unique and is the capital city for fashion. The cuisine is extraordinary, especially if you love pastries. The architecture and the history behind it give you an experience like no other city I have visited. The people and how they are dressed, the rush, the exhibitions, the art, the big fashion brands that shine with art installations all over the city, and the blend of cultures create a fairytale.

Favorite country you lived in & why
Spain. I lived in Madrid for half a year, and it was a life-changing experience. The architecture, the vibe, the people, the lifestyle, and the infrastructures are just amazing. After visiting Barcelona, I was sure that Spain is my favorite country.

Workout routine
I always consume a high-protein snack before working out. Then, I stretch for five minutes and start with a medium pace jog. After 2-3 km, I usually do workouts that are focused on improving my strength, either in the gym or outside if the weather is nice. I do this 4-5 times a week.

Favorite food
Sweet chili chicken with basmati rice.

Favorite junk food
Bacon Cheeseburger from Five Guys or Traditional Gyros.

Best way to wind down after a busy day
Junkfood in bed and Netflix.

Sitting down with him for a second time and getting to know David on a more personal note allowed me to see the fun-loving side of his personality, which is very often reflected in his music. Aside from his creativity and drive for success, he’s a multifaceted creative expressing himself through more than just music.
